MIT Asian Dance Team performed at Northeastern's Lunar New Year event put together by Melissa Chen, the Asian Student Union, Pi Delta Psi and the Vietnamese Student Association.



The choreographer is actually from Taiwan and her family is still there. She was able to talk about the affects the earthquake is having over there.



Look at all this brainpower that is part of Boston's Asian Community. It would be goo dif we could harness all that for Chinatown. Granted right after this performance I overheard some of the young women talking about going to Tea-Do or Kung Fu Tea... so economically, yes they are part of Chinatown, and arguably they are part of it culturally as well.
